Planetary Gemology or Ratna Shastra is an ancient Vedic science which involves field of study that involves the use of gemstones and crystals to harness the energies of specific planets in order to bring about positive changes in one’s life. It is based on the ancient Vedic astrology practice of using gemstones to balance and enhance the effects of planets on an individual’s horoscope or birth chart. Each planet is associated with a specific gemstone, and wearing or using that gemstone can help to strengthen the corresponding planetary influence in a person’s life. The practice of planetary gemology is often used in conjunction with other spiritual practices, such as meditation and mantra chanting, to promote greater well-being, success, and happiness.

Planetary gemology works on the principle that each planet in our solar system has a unique energy and influence on our lives, which can be balanced and enhanced by wearing or using a specific gemstone associated with that planet. According to Vedic astrology, each person’s birth chart or horoscope is influenced by the positions of the planets at the time of their birth.

The gemstones associated with each planet are believed to have vibrational frequencies that resonate with the energy of their corresponding planet. When a person wears or uses a gemstone associated with a specific planet, it is believed to help balance and harmonize the planetary influence in their life. For example, if a person’s horoscope indicates a weak influence of the planet Mars, wearing a gemstone such as red coral, which is associated with Mars, may help to strengthen its influence and bring about positive changes in their life.

It is important to note that planetary gemology is not a substitute for medical or professional advice and should be used in conjunction with other practices for overall well-being. It is also essential to consult with a knowledgeable astrologer or gemologist before selecting gemstones for personal use.
